Once you have sewn your stuffed animal you will want to stuff it so it looks professional and keeps its shape through hugs, tosses, and everything that life throws at these huggable fabric critters.
1. Begin with the ears, snout, and other small parts. Using a small bit of stuffing at a time, poke the stuffing down into the area. Before beginning, use a point turner, or a spoon to push out the ears or muzzle or other small part, so that the true shape shows. A pencil or ink pen can be used, but be careful; these items can poke holes in your fabric or tear the seam.
2. Use a spoon or your fingers to press the stuffing in place. Make the ears, and snout fairly firm.
3. You might want to make the body firm, too. On the other hand, you may want the body to remain pretty soft. What ever you do, don’t overstuff that critter! You don’t want it busting its seams.
