I Spy…Premier Prints

Fabric intersects everything in our lives. Your clothes, shoe linings, bags, blankets, pillows, curtains, seats of your car, office chair, restaurant booth, and on and on and on. But I wasn’t quite aware of the extent of that until almost four weeks ago when I started working at OFS. As we walked through that enormous warehouse full of fabric my co-workers were all “You’re going to start noticing our stuff everywhere.” I thought: yeeeah, probably not.

But here I am noticing fabrics everywhere. Last night for example, as I’m watching the contrasting reactions of Biden and Boehner behind President Obama during the State of The Union address I actually started wondering what kind of leather their chairs were upholstered in! OFS indoctrination? I think yes.

I may not be able to rattle off fabric designer names, rub counts and SKUs like OFS long-timers around me yet. But give me a few weeks and instead of noting leather, it’ll be more like “Just look at that fine use of Drum-dyed, Valdez Tombo Bovine Cow Hide in the House Chamber!

But seriously. One OFS fabric brand I am starting to be able to identify both online and off is Premier Prints. They’ve got a colorful and modern style that work so well for my taste in home decor. So for this “I Spy” post, I’m sharing a few ways those prints have been used throughout homes I found on Houzz.com.
