Still trying to get a holiday sewing project done? Don’t panic; it won’t be the end of the world if you don’t finish in time. If the project is a gift, simply show it to the recipient and explain your dilemma; in most cases they’ll be so pleased you wanted to make something special for them, they will be glad to wait for it a little longer.

If the project is a holiday decoration or new home décor, it will be just as appealing next year. Don’t let an unfinished project ruin your holiday enjoyment.

Relax and savor the time you spend with family and friends. Family far away and you’re feeling a bit blue? Why not volunteer to visit people in a nursing home or hospital or serve food to the homeless? You’ll brighten others’ day and you’ll brighten your own as well.
