There are times when white can be too stark and a softer neutral is needed. Almost Linen Beige Burlap is the perfect alternative to white. As with all neutrals, it coordinates beautifully with other colors. When you place this soft beige burlap next to brown, black, red or deep blue it can soften the colors. Used as a coordinating color with bright yellow or green, beige can tone the brightness of those colors down. If you have dark painted walls, adding a pair of stationary drapery panels made from a textured fabric in a soft color will add interest to the room. Sewing a round table topper from beige almost linen and bordering it with a contrasting color gives you a custom look for very little money.
