Egg crate foam is useful in applications that require evenly distributed support. It is most commonly used in mattress pads and in medical applications such as wheelchair cushions and wrist and ankle protectors, where its unique design minimizes pressure against the body. The pressure relieving ability of eggcrate foam makes it useful for a variety of other padding applications, such as case, crate and box lining, and equipment packaging. Alternate sizes include 2" x 36" x 75" egg crate foam and 2" x 76" x 80" egg crate foam.
