This 4 inch upholstery foam (size 4x24x108) is enough foam to cover 4 occasional chairs for use in the dining room or breakfast area. The thickness of a 4 inch foam offers maximum comfort in a pull up chair as a thicker foam would eliminate any leg room under the table. If you have a slip covered couch that has seen better days, placing a four inch piece of foam under the cushions will provide more support and the slipcover will hide the foam.
