60" Burlap | Burlap is a coarse, loosely woven fabric made of jute. Jute is a natural fiber obtained from one of two Asian plants which are members of the linden family. This fabric has traditionally been used for agricultural and horticultural purposes and today is sometimes used in crafts. It is used to make grain and feed bags. 60" burlap is excellent as a weed barrier around trees and shrubs. It eventually decays, enriching the soil. Because of its breathability it is also used as a cover over tender vegetation in freezing weather. |
