This metallic/nylon Lilac Lamé is shimmery on both sides. This thin, lightweight material is nearly sheer. It is ideal for numerous styles of costumes! Use it for dance costumes which do not need a stretch fabric. It is great for stage costumes, too!

Like all extra thin fabrics, Lilac Lamé tends to jam in the machine’s feed dogs. To avoid this problem, you can make the needle hole smaller by either replacing the sewing machine’s regular plate with a straight stitch plate, or by putting tape in back and front of the needle hole so that it will be smaller. We recommend this fabric for intermediate and advanced sewers.

The maximum continuous length for this product is 50 yards, ordering more than 50 yards will come in more than one piece.

Please be advised that samples are not cuttings for approval. They are pre-cut and not necessarily from the same bolt you will receive. Dye lots are not guaranteed.
