Monks cloth is a loosely woven, 100% cotton fabric. The unique basket-weave design makes monks cloth a desirable fabric for draperies, bedding, and even to upholster items that do not receive a lot of use such as a hallway bench or small footstool. The sharp navy blue color coordinates with many other colors. Create an Americana or nautical feel with the addition of red and/or white, or pair it with lime green for a fresh, crisp look. Add navy blue to a pink nursery for an unexpected and eye-catching color combination, or create a monochromatic color scheme with several shades of blue for a boy’s nursery. Monks cloth drapes well and can also be used for table linens such as tablecloths, placemats, and toppers.
