It has a slight sheen and a smooth touch, and it weighs in at 200 denier. Lightweight and wonderfully easy to work with, it isnt as stiff as many of the heavier coated nylon varieties. It can make an excellent addition to bags, whether as an outer layer or as a liner. A Coated Nylon Oxford beach bag will effortlessly repel water and is quickly wiped free of sand when toted back to the car. A diaper bag lined with this material will resist stains, spills, and mildew, and will wipe clean in an instant with some soapy water. Its very strong, making a great reinforcement on backpacks, too.
