For our Gazebo, I had made winter panels and needed heaver material then what I used. Hoping it is clearer then what I had bought before. You prices are very reasonable to me. Cant wait to get it to replace all the windows and make 4 more new panels to finish and enjoy our gazebo this winter here in NY State.

How is the film applied to a wall? Can it be easily removed in the future?
A shopper on Jul 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I personally used this vinyl to line my brand new kitchen cabinets. It is invisible and it is perfect for this. I used some of it to make table covers. We have lots of friends over for playing games. I use it to protect my wooden surface from scratching when playing mahjongg and canasta. It easily stores when not in use. I have also used it as a protective surface under the kitty litter box. Also made placemats for under cat and dog food areas...
We’re trying to figure out a way to protect a section of our hall wall and floor molding that our two large Weimaraners keep hitting when they run and slide on the hardwood floor. We were thinking of tacking a piece to the wall, and wanted to cover the floor molding as well. Do you think this gauge will work or should we go higher or lower? Do you have any suggestions on the best methods to attach the vinyl?
A shopper on Nov 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hello, well I can not say for sure but I have both and the only difference between the 16 and 20 gauge is little. If the dogs have sharp claws/nails I would go with the 30 gauge it would last longer I would think. Hope this helps.
Hi, I'm interested in buying 25 yards of vinyl; It is the product in a single roll ?

How thick is 16 gage?
A shopper on Jun 12, 2018

can this be used for a greenhouse? temperature here does go to freezing occasionally but rarely for extended periods, located in Vancouver, b.c. Canada. would this material actually crack at 0 degrees or ?
A shopper on Jan 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This 16 gauge vinyl would work for a greenhouse. It's not likely to actually crack at 0 degrees F unless you try to fold it sharply. It just gets more brittle the colder it gets.
does this product come in 48" wide?
A shopper on Jan 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This product only comes in a 54" width. You could trim it to meet your 48" width, though.
What gauge vinyl should I use to sew an enclose a golf cart? I will be sewing the vinyl to outdoor fabric.
Cheryl N on Sep 26, 2017

Does the vinyl come on a roll with tissue between the layers?
A shopper on May 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, that's exactly how it's shipped.
I have a U shaped desk that I am tring to cover so I can protect the paint job on it. The 2 side pieces are 2'W x 4'L and the middle section is 2'W x 12'L. I was wondering what would be the best gauge to get for protection?
Cody N on Apr 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: That's really up to your own personal preference. We suggest ordering different samples of clear vinyl to see what you feel most comfortable with but a 16 gauge would be fine in our opinion.
I need to cover a wooden attic floor.I need a vinyl strong enough to protect, but not thin so it rips.I will be storing cardboard boxes on the floor, and when I move the heavy boxes. I want the vinyl as a floor protector, strong enough to prevent scratches.

No other foot traffic is in the attic, just storage.

What gauge should I choose?

Thank you
A shopper on Dec 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We don't recommend using clear vinyl to protect floors as it may pose a safety hazard.
Which clear vinyl would be best for enclosing a screen porch?
A shopper on Nov 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 20, 30, or 40 gauge are commonly used for enclosing screen porches. Of these gauges 20 is the lightest and most flexible, while 40 is the heaviest and most stiff. If temperatures get really cold around you, the 30 or 40 can withstand the coldest temperatures of -29 and -30 degrees. The 20 gauge is rated for 0 degree temperatures. We suggest ordering samples to compare and see which would work best for you.
What gauge would you reccommend for a shelf of shoes that I am trying to keep the dust out? I want to cover the front of the shelf like a curtain would.
A shopper on Nov 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 8, 10, or 12 gauge would be flexible enough to act like a curtain, while still being sturdy. We suggest ordering samples to see what gauge would work best for you.
WHICH GAUGE IS THE CLEAREST?
A shopper on Nov 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: All gauges are equally clear, but the lower gauges are more pliable so if the vinyl isn't completely flat, the light reflecting off the surface can make it appear more wavy. The higher gauges, like 60, 40, or 30, are stiff and the reflected light will have a more even look. This may make it appear clearer.
I want to use vinyl to cover a the seat of a dining room chair . What gauge vinyl should I use?
A shopper on Oct 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 12, 10, or 8 gauge clear vinyl would be suitable for seat covers. We recommend ordering samples to be sure that whatever gauge you choose will be right for your project.
