In the winter we build a "greenhouse" around our airstream and heat it with a woodstove. We are experimenting with adding windows to enjoy the winter scenery. We went with the 20g clear because we only need it to last one season. I'm confident this product will be perfect.

will be building new interior storms using wood frames and this heavy vinyl.
I've used the vinyl on another project and it's perfect. The product
has less heat loss that the 1/16" clear glass found in older storms.
The slight distortion even gives the impression of traditional spun glass.

I'm looking for something to use as a hardwood floor protector for under our desk chairs. Would this work and if so what gauge would you recommend?

I this type of material rigid enough to use in large picture frames? Or is it so malleable creases may appear?
A shopper on Jan 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, it is flexible, not meant for any sort of rigid use . You would need a thin sheet of plexiglass (if you'd rather not use real glass) for a large picture frame. I suppose you could try stretching it onto an inner frame like you would stretch a canvas to paint on, but even then, I doubt it would look good.
Could this be used as roof material on a pool cage?
A shopper on May 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would think not. It would probably stretch and sag due to rainfall or snow.
can this be used to replace the plastic cover on the lights of an old wall-hung medicine cabinet-- cut to size of course.?
A shopper on Jul 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Sure it can !! But why don’t you use a piece of plexi glass. There won’t be any give we’re as the plastic will have give. And my opinion is that you would have more of a chance on the plastic coming undone from your anchor support

I need to create a 3d castle on a canvas. Would this material work when gluing or attaching to a canvas painting?? I need to make curved brick like shapes for the walls and roofs.
A shopper on Oct 26, 2017

How much would u suggest for a asile runner for wedding., would you recommend this?
A shopper on Oct 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Vinyl runners for walking on have little pointy grppers underneath. Slick vinyl like this will slide easily and people will slip and fall. Look online for "vinyl runners". You might alos be able to buy it by the foot or yard at some places, where they have a big rolll, to cut from. I think Home Depot or Lowes had in the past, not sure if they still do. It is alos called "carpet protecter" vinyl.
can I use this 20g to cover an heirloom persian rug to prevent dog accidents?
A shopper on Jun 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Should work for that. I make frames for it and use it to keep snow off my deck in the winter. It's really tough!!
How can I attach this to wooden pergola? Can I just nail it down?
A shopper on May 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If you wanted to nail it down, it would work better to lay a strip of wood (like 3/4" to 1" wide) over the edge to help hold it, but I think it might still tear at the nails of a good wind came along. If I HAD ti use this to cover a pergola, I'd proabably try sewing a durable outdoor fabric around the edges as a frame, then put wood strips over the edges of both fabric and plastic and nail down. Wind is your main enemy, along with heavy blowing rain, and wind driven sleet or hail.

Can I use it for picture frame ?
A shopper on Jul 29, 2018

Best gauge for covering, for winter, over old windows that cats cannot scratch?
A shopper on Feb 14, 2018

BEST ANSWER: 10 gauge may be too thin. We recommend ordering a few different gauges to see which will best fit your needs. If your cats nails aren't trimmed, they may grab onto the vinyl and rip it off.

I am now a loyal repeat customer
What a great product! We had purchased an oversized poster and built a custom frame for it. We were not able to find glass or plex to protect it. The fabric was just the trick, it looks great and I will be ordering more for other photos / posters. Our friends love it too, so we are happily referring them to you.. Thank you so much!

Perfect shelf liner for glass china hutch
It arrived on time and in a plastic covered roll (no creases from folding), with a paper backing to protect from scratching. I used the 20 gauge clear vinyl to cover glass shelves in a china hutch so the dishes and glasses would not rattle when you walk across the floor. Much cheaper than stiffening the floor joists! It worked perfectly and you cannot see that it is even there. The slightly tacky surface holds the dishes firmly in place. Just place the shelf on the vinyl on a flat clean cuttable surface like MDF and trim with a razor blade. A rubber j-roller worked to iron out any air bubbles being careful not to snap the glass of course. Sticks and lays flat but is removable. Cabinet light shines through it. Will use the leftover to cover a heavily used end table so no coasters required.
