I this type of material rigid enough to use in large picture frames? Or is it so malleable creases may appear?
A shopper on Jan 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, it is flexible, not meant for any sort of rigid use . You would need a thin sheet of plexiglass (if you'd rather not use real glass) for a large picture frame. I suppose you could try stretching it onto an inner frame like you would stretch a canvas to paint on, but even then, I doubt it would look good.

I'm looking for something clear to protect the arm rest on my leather couch and chairs. I need it think enough so that my cats back claws won't go thru it. I want it clear so the beautiful leather shows thru it. I am confused on the levels of thickness you offer. Can you give me the thickness of each gauge please?
Thanks you!
A shopper on Feb 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If you put 0.0 in front of the gauge, you'll get the thickness. So 20 gauge is 0.02 inches, 30 gauge is 0.03 inches, etc. This might not be incredibly helpful in picturing the thickness, so we recommend ordering samples to be able to see the thickness. This 20 gauge is a good starting point. People have used this gauge to protect furniture from pets.
Which of these would you suggest as a table top protector for cherry wood dinning room table?
A shopper on Feb 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 6, 8, or 10 gauge clear vinyl will work well for a table top protector if you need a bit or drape along the edges. If you just want to cover the top without a drape, 20 gauge would also work. We offer samples on all of these products so you can see for yourself which will work best.

I had a covered porch built I did not have it enclosed.. Last winter I had a lot of snow on the porch mainly blowing snow.. I need vinyl heavy enough that my contractor can hang on the outside and Tack it at the top and bottom.. I need two pieces at least 8 1/2 feet tall one is 12 feet wide and the other is 16 feet wide.. Heavy gauge what should I buy? Thank you for your help sincerely Joann
A shopper on Nov 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 30 or 40 gauge clear vinyl are often used for this purpose. 20 gauge would also work. We suggest ordering samples so you can compare thicknesses and see which would work the best for you. All of these gauges are 54 inches wide, so you couldn't have pieces that big without seams, but you can tape them together with a heavy duty clear tape.
What gauge is best for car window in Iowa?
A shopper on Nov 1, 2016

Could I use to make little clear boxes?
A shopper on Oct 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you could make clear boxes. But not knowing exactly what sort of box you have in mind, we can't be sure it would work how you want it to. We suggest ordering a sample (or several samples of different gauges) to see if it will work for you. This 20 gauge clear vinyl is a medium weight that has stiffness to it but is still flexible.
Could I get a 48" L by 60" W ? I want it toe pretty thick. Can mold with heat gun if possible. Want to tint it a little so light still shines through. thanks!!!
A shopper on Oct 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We currently only offer this gauge in a 54" width. If you ordered 2 yards, you would get a piece that is 54" x 72" which you could then easily cut down to your specified size since the vinyl can be oriented either way (use the length to get the width you need, and vice versa).
