what is the difference between this foam and dri foam? Im looking for foam that is suitable for my large dog who has arthritis
BEST ANSWER: This upholstery foam is meant for indoor applications, while the Eva-Dri and EZ-Dri are designed to be used outdoors. Both outdoor foams allow liquids to flow through and evaporate quickly. The EZ-Dri also has a built in fungicidal additive that inhibits fungus and mildew. All types will work for a dog bed, but if the your dog is often wet, the outdoor foam may be a better option. They all offer about the same amount of support.
I need 4 pieces of foam that are 4" thick, 16" wide and 20" deep. Do you have that size of outdoor foam?
BEST ANSWER: We do offer 4" thick outdoor foam, however we do not offer custom cut pieces. Here are some products that meet your 4" outdoor requirement.
I’m looking for a foam rubber that has very little give. I need to use it as a space filler on a hospital bed. I have a regular mattress and it’s not long enough. When you raise the head the mattress slides down. I need something extra extra firm to place at the foot of the mattress to keep it from sliding. I’ve tried rolling up pillows and tapping them. It doesn’t work. Too soft. Do you have anything that would work?
Will it absorb water?
BEST ANSWER: It won't absorb water the way a terry cloth or towel would.
I need your help. We have a friend who has a one year old daughter that has osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease). They are looking for four inch thick upholstery foam and 3 feet long. They use the foam to hold up the baby as she sits in her highchair to prevent injuries. How can we cut your foam to fit into the highchair?
BEST ANSWER: Foam is easy to cut with a serrated knife or an electric knife (like for cutting turkey). Mark both sides of the foam where you want to cut. Cut into one side with the knife, but only half way through the thickness. Then flip it over and finish cutting all the way through. This way you get a cleaner, more even cut.
