What could be more basic than soft broadcloth fabric in a go-with-everything shade of white? This 80% polyester, 20% cotton fabric also offers a generous 57/58” width. White broadcloth fabric is both durable and versatile. It is tightly woven for sturdiness yet soft and comfortable to the touch. Use broadcloth to sew women's blouses and little girl's dresses or for a comfortable dress shirt for the men. This strong fabric can also be used in craft projects such as costumes, quilts, and throws or washable tote bags and carryalls. Around the house, broadcloth can be used as a backing for a duvet or to make a crisp looking bed skirt and pillow shams that will coordinate with your existing bedding. It drapes beautifully, so use it for window treatments or pretty table linens such as table cloths, napkins, and placemats that can be used all year long!

Why did you choose this?
Can this materia be used to make pastor gowns?
BEST ANSWER: You could, but it would be very thin. You may need a lining or may want a thicker fabric.
Would this fabric be suitable for dishtowels?
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't use it for dishtowels, more for quilts and clothing.
Can this fabric be sublimination printed for a quilt panel?
BEST ANSWER: I have not used sublimination printing, so I can't speak to that specifically. When I bought this fabric, it was more sheer than I expected it to be (I used it for a theater costume, for which it sufficed). I would not use it in a quilt I was making. It has more sheen than the normal quilting cottons, and I would want a somewhat more substantial fabric. Hope that helps.
is this fabric soft ?
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but it isn't plush the way fleece is.
Is this soft enough for a baby blanket?
BEST ANSWER: Yes, and yet it is durable....
Will this broad cloth work for sublimination Printing that will be used in a quilt?
