I use Cotton Canvas fabric to make men and women's hats. I selected this color as well as several others to give a customer a choice. Love working with this canvas

Can you this product for a pocketbook? My present canvas saddle bag is fraying and I want to get it redone?
A shopper on Jan 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I'd say yes. We used it to make cushion covers for our sofa and it's holding up well despite a lot of abuse and washings. I'd recommend washing and ironing it a couple of times before you use it, though (even before you cut out the pieces). It's a little stiff when it first arrives but washes into a nice, soft canvas.
Would this fabric be ok to reupholster a kitchen stool that will be used constantly?
A shopper on Apr 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I make sunhats from the canvas I purchase. I would be guessing at furniture covering, however, canvas like denim has the ability to stretch.
Can this canvas be used as a tote bag liner?
A shopper on Oct 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely! You may want to spray your bag with fabric protector or add wax so the fabric will be waterproof.
What weight canvas do you recommend for a duvet? I'm planning to use the same fabric for both sides for a home sewing machine made king size duvet. This is to replace a formerly custom made which has been so durable I want to duplicate it but without seeing the fabric, I'm not sure which weight to purchase. Please recommend some samples I should buy in order to help make a decision.
A shopper on Apr 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If you're looking specifically for canvas, this 9.3 oz canvas is a good weight for a duvet. You can machine wash it, but it will shrink about 8%. If you're looking for solid colors, some other durable options are:
Twill (medium weight, durable): www.onlinefabricstore.net/product-group-twill.aspx
Premier Prints solids (like canvas, but a little lighter weight): www.onlinefabricstore.net/brand-premier-prints.aspx?design=solid
