Why did you choose this?
Is this material suitable to make support panties and body support slips?
BEST ANSWER: This fabric will stretch a bit, but won't give you the type of support that shapewear will, if that's what you're looking for.
Would this fabric work for stretchy parts of a bra?
BEST ANSWER: It could. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
Is this matte or shiny?
BEST ANSWER: It is matte. Very nice and thick as well.
Okay, this is a weird question, but let's see which of you experts out there can give me a clue. I am going to use this fabric, 9 oz poly Spandex, to make a shade sail (as per a cool DIY YouTube video- No Sew Shade Sail). The area I want to cover (for the most part) is about 16 1/2' x 11'. This material is 60" wide, so I will need two panels. Since this material will be stretched to the limits, can anyone tell me approximately how many yards I should buy for each panel? (I did order a sample swatch, but I know you all who work with this have a better idea of what it can do.) I'm more concerned with the length than the width. How many yards should I buy so that it stretches pretty tightly to cover 16 1/2' ? (And thank you, in advance!)
BEST ANSWER: We really don't recommend using this apparel fabric outdoors as it isn't durable enough.
Will work as Screen projector? To do a silhouette drama.
BEST ANSWER: It is probably too thick.
would this fabric be good for sublimation? for patches?
BEST ANSWER: Since this fabric has spandex in it, probably not.
is this fabric good for maternity pants or skirts inserts?
BEST ANSWER: Yes this fabric would work great for maternity pants and a skirt insert!
