Why did you choose this?
What is the use of a stationary blade?
Does it cut styro foam and leaves it smooth? Does the tool heat up to cut by melting or it's similar to a knife
BEST ANSWER: The tool does not heat up to cut but rather cuts more like a saw rather than a knife. The cut edge is not completely smooth but the cut is fairly clean considering you are cutting foam.
How does this differ from the Acu-Cutter 500?
BEST ANSWER: The 350 has 1 stationary and 1 reciprocating blade, while the 500 has 2 reciprocating blades.
