The fabric will be used with white Jacquard Satin to fashion a white/black Jacquard Satin Prom dress or gown. I like the fabric and have used this fabric before and the dress looks wonderful.

It's for a formal and I wanted simple elegance. Based on reviews this fabric should work well.
Kimberly R on May 1, 2018
I like the floral jacquard weave of this fabric. I'll make an LBD with this.

It's the best visual match, texture, and weight for a dress I'm making! I ordered a sample to see if it was right, and it is. It's not too thick or thin, which should work out for a gown!

because it's the closest match to the skirt I need to alter, and because it's going for the cheapest price I could find (after hours of research!).

Is this very light or is it heavy enough to make a coat?
A shopper on Nov 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This fabric by itself is probably not thick enough to create a coat. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure.

Very nice and very classic
I chose this because it's now impossible to find a black on black floral fabric and it has a wonderful sheen. I used it as the lining for bed hangings on a canopy bed. Just as elegant as the gowns and party dresses it was used for decades ago. Use pinking sheers to cut this stuff because it frays like crazy!
