would this fabric make a nice "concert" skirt? I don't want anything too shiny or too thin.
A shopper on May 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I find it has a medium shine and ideal weight. Good luck with your project!
Does it have any stretch ?
A shopper on Oct 15, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I used it in a situation where I did not need, or want, stretch (a pillow cover), so I was pleased that it did not
have any.
Have a happy sewing project!

Is this fabric washable?
Hallie F on Mar 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes... Polyester is always washable. However, you may need to steam or iron the fabric after washing? Wash as you would silk or any delicate fabric.

A shopper on Feb 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I made Christmas ornaments with this fabric which we do not wash first.. Sorry I have no idea if it runs but color did not rub off as I handled the fabric.

Maria J on Aug 3, 2018

Black satin fabric
The fabric is a good weight and actually heavier that I expected which is a positive. The color is a bit shiny and iridescent which isn't as pleasing as the weight but I can live with it. Overall a very good experience for my first time buying fabric online.

Very nice satin!
It's a high shine, heavy satin, but still holds a nice drape and flow! I've used it for Cape/Cloak linings, Bridal and Formal wear.

Cuts well; no fray. Heavy steam needed to remove hard creases...even then, a mark is left. Not much of a stretch, even on the bias. Washable, but after 5 or loses its luster/shine. Dry cleaning will prevent that.
