Autumn Inspiration: Fall Colors
Here in New England, autumn is a gorgeous time of year. I love the crisp air and, of course, the trees with their brilliant fall colors.
Fall is all about nature, so whether in fashion or home decor, earth tones are in this time of year.
Orange is the first color that comes to mind when thinking about fall. Hues range from burnt orange to bright orange on leaves and pumpkins. Reds in shades of maroon, scarlet, and crimson add to the colorful tones of the leaves. Golden yellows can also be found on trees as well as other yellows in hay and gourds. Brown also goes well with these fall colors as it is the color of dirt and bark. Finally, green can also be found in trees, whether it's the olive green of changing leaves or the lasting pine green of evergreens. Some other beautiful colors to accent these tones are turquoise blue and plum purple.
I chose some of my favorite autumn inspired fabrics and also put together a fall color palette.
