Fabric and Home Decor: Five fall favorites #5 Felt

Felt is such a great fabric for crafts, apparel, costumes and holiday decorations.  Martha Stewart offers several tips on how to use felt for craft projects for the upcoming holiday season.  One of my favorites is this felt tote bag that can be used to cart all those gifts you need to buy or given as a gift to your favorite teacher, co-worker etc.

Felt is a kid-friendly fabric and these holiday ornaments from Better Homes and Gardens are a fun project that the whole family can work on together.

Photographs are always a welcome gift, especially when they are presented in this felt frame. (design by Martha Stewart)

At Online fabric store we offer felt in many different colors that will suit your needs.  No need to own a sewing machine as felt items can be glued together with simple craft hot glue or fabric glue.  Make easy no-sew stockings, table runners and tree skirts out of seasonally colored felt or glue that Thanksgiving pageant costume together using black and brown felt.  Kids will delight in using placemats they made themselves or, better yet, have them make a special one for Grandma and Grandpa to use when they come to visit.
