Fabric for a “Frozen” Themed Birthday Party
It may be 70 degrees outside and sunny, but everywhere I turn things are all Frozen, Frozen, Frozen. About a month ago, the day the new Disney film Frozen became available on Amazon Prime, we bought it for our family Friday night movie. “A girl movie?” My four-year-old son asked, whole-heartedly doubting my selection.
But with all that masculine ice hacking in the opening scene, his skepticism soon dissipated. The final verdict? It was good. So good we had to watch it the very next day. And every day thereafter, two brothers stood side-by-side in my living room, toy saws in hand “breaking the ice apart.”
Now that the movie’s out on DVD, it has picked up hefty momentum and popularity. It is, in fact, the theme for a child’s birthday party. Seriously, you have to check out the photos from one of those parties, where an insanely life-like Elsa made an appearance. And that cool Scandinavian snowman Olaf has become a regular Pinterest star, as his likeness is being created out of snack foods across the country. The store shelves carrying Frozen-themed party supplies? Pretty scarce.
So if you’re looking to create a Frozen vibe for your little one, consider browsing through our apparel fabric section. Whether draped around the room to create an icy winter wonderland party scene, or mixing colors and textures for festive table cloths, fabric can add a lot to an occasion. Here are few that might work well.
