Fall DIY Outdoor Ottoman

The other evening as the sun was setting on me and my boys jumping in the crunchy, colorful leaves in our yard, my husband called to us.  Dinner was ready. And I was like, “Let’s eat on the deck.” And he’s all, “But it’s getting dark.” To which I replied, “We’ll light candles.”

It was just such a nice temperature out and the realization that we’ll be eating inside exclusively for the next four months or so tugged at me. So we ate outside and it was just as lovely as I had hoped. So today I am here to encourage my fellow cold-weather-winter friends, if you can, to continue enjoying those outdoor moments for as long as possible before the ice and snow set in! And a little lounging set-up like this one wouldn’t hurt.

Do you see that fab polka dot ottoman? Melody of My Passion for Decor made it from a wire basket and some outdoor durable water repellant fabric, and I just love that shade of yellow for fall decor. Head over to get the tutorial and details, and enjoy the weekend ahead outdoors!
