Here to There

At this moment I’m somewhere up in the air between Amsterdam and our destination, Linköping, Sweden. We’ve been traveling for 17 hours and probably half a dozen one-year-old boy outbursts. Thanks to the Fireman Sam app on my OFS iPad mini though, my three-year-old is likely taking the trip in stride. But despite the tiring ups and downs of getting from door to door, I’m so excited to be headed back to Sweden, a place I spent two years of my life. In addition to just enjoying spending time with our family and friends there, as I mentioned I am getting a few sewing lessons too. Here’s the fabric I ended up selecting to take along with me.

The grey and white chevron is a Premier Print and the colorful one is a P. Kaufmann. I may add a solid at some point but I think these are a good start to add some color to my living room and sofa.

I also got a few yards of this Ozbourne Black Premier Print to create cushion covers for chairs we’ll be putting in our finished basement/den/playroom when it’s done. I realize the cushion covers are quite ambitious for my non-existent skill level, so wish. Me. Luck!

I’ll be taking some fun snapshots on Instagram over the course of the week, so follow us if you don’t already!
