Showing off a gorgeous set of hand-sewn draperies doesn't have to mean living in cave-like conditions at mid-day. Try this beautiful Ecru Handkerchief Linen for your next drapery project! With a tight weave and incredible durability, it lends itself wonderfully to beautiful draperies. But instead of blocking all signs that the sun even exists, this fabric lets gentle light stream through, revealing the eye-catching texture of the linen and cutting the harsh glare of the mid-day sun. You can admire your drapes and enjoy your privacy without having to resort to artificial lighting all the time. Cool and neutral, this fabric offers a smooth touch that makes it an easy choice for summer wardrobes. Lovely blouses, shirts, nightgowns and more can be created and enjoyed with this simple and elegant linen.

BEST ANSWER: I used it for curtains, it's beautiful but sheer. I would say that you would want something heavier for furniture
