What would you make out of fluorescent vinyl?
A shopper on Jul 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Well, yoyu are only limted by your imagination. The blue could be used in a party as part of an ocean backdrop. You could make a small zippered bag for holding essentail items to make them easy to find in your purse. Mermiad scales could be cut from it and sewn to a fake fish tail. lt's like any other fabric, limited only by your imagination and whether it was a practical weight and type for the project you have in mind. Perhaps a hanging clothing bag easy to spot at the airport.
Would like to know if the 9 gauge vinyl will work for a light raincoat?
Wilma W on Feb 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I believe it could be created, but would not recommend it for that purpose because it would not have the flexibility you would want in a wearable item. It stiffens further at cold temperatures but would definitely overheat the wearer unevenly at any temp.
Does it reflect black light?
Sil K on Dec 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We don't have a blacklight on hand to confirm, so we recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
Is product great for making purses?
A shopper on Jul 1, 2017

I am making a zipper bag for wet or damp items for inside of a diaper bag. Would this be a good option?
A shopper on Jun 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this would be a good weight for that. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
is this flexable enough to use in place of screen on a lanai?
A shopper on May 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
Is it food safe?
A shopper on Apr 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This vinyl is not food safe.
how durable is this 9 gauge vinyl? I can't tell from the image what the actual thickness would be. Does it wrinkle or is it thick enough to resist wrinkling and will both roll up and lay flat nicely?
A shopper on Feb 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This is about 9 gauge vinyl, it is flexible and might wrinkly depending on how you use or store it. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
I am looking for 35 lb vinyl to make dog beds. These are the options they gave for best material to buy. We want most durable, which they say is the 35 lb vinyl. Do you have any of these?

Vinyl coated PVC mesh: Allows water to pass through it. Six months chew warranty.
Permatron made by TenCate. Allows water to pass through it and breaths. It is a very strong mesh fabric that wears well. We don’t recommend this fabric for dogs that tend to scratch repetitive.
Ballistic Nylon: Very durable fabric with a fine finish that won't catch hair. Water will puddle on this fabric. One Year chew warranty.
35 Oz Vinyl (Harder to put together): Our most durable fabric. Water will puddle on this fabric. Recommended for dogs that tend to dig or scratch their beds. But, please be aware that even this fabric can be scratched thru.
A shopper on Dec 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We do carry PVC mesh: www.onlinefabricstore.net/brand-phifertex.aspx
As well as coated ballistic nylon: /www.onlinefabricstore.net/product-group-nylon.aspx?use=general-purpose&product=ballistic-nylon
What you're looking for is 35 OZ nylon, not LB. We carry marine vinyl which is similar in durability: www.onlinefabricstore.net/product-group-vinyl-and-leather.aspx?specialty=marine

Great product, fantastic customer service!
This vinyl is exactly as represented and I'm very satisfied with its quality. But the real story is the extraordinary customer service provided by Online Fabric Store. My original order was delayed due to the manufacturer and OFS reps worked closely with me to process it as quickly as possible. Unfortunately the package arrived damaged by UPS. But the same OFS reps responded immediately and shipped a replacement within 2 business days. This is a company that obviously believes in and is dedicated to quality products and great customer service. I would heartily recommend working with them on all counts!
