I am looking for something to line my drapes to keep out the heat
Janis M on Aug 4, 2018
Being an interior designer, I have chosen Thermafoam lining for two different client projects because it provides weather insulation while giving a dimming effect from sunlight, and furthermore, I also find that, depending on the fabric, it gives a clean crisp look to both drapes and roman shades.

This is to line my bedroom roman shade (another vintage fabric from the Goodwill bought recently). I am hoping it will cut the glare from the western sunset.

I will be using this as an interlining to block a darker colored contrast lining fabric from showing through the lighter face fabric, and also to filter the light.

Like the idea of thermafoam

I needed a fluid, insulating, lightweight, light dimming lining. Ordered lots of samples and liked how this looked and felt. Can’t speak to the effectiveness of insulating properties yet, but it looks like it will do well. The price point was excellent. I ordered 50 yds to do a very large quantity of Roman shades and Ripplefold drapes. Using it to line a sateen fabric and this should provide good sun protection. Really like the soft hand feel and light to mid weight.

helps keep out the light and helps with a little insulation and protects your other fabrics from light.

wanted thermal liner, not blackout. To insulate against cold windows. Good prices
Brenda R on Dec 27, 2017
I got three samples and this was the best feel and light blocking for the weight.
Meredith M on Nov 19, 2017
Wanted some insulation against sun heat, and insulation when it is cold coming from windows. Received sample that I ordered, good weight not too heavy nor too light - And some light (dim) can still pass through - seems perfect

I am using silk for the drapes and need to us this for body and sun protection.

The price was right and I wanted something that is thin but insulating.
WENDY M on Jan 7, 2017
Its nice and light weight fabric, no problem I put on drapery linen its so beatiful.

We need a insulating lining for a south exposure window in two kids rooms. It doesn't have to be total darkening, more interested in blocking out some light and insulating from direct sun in summer and cold in the winter months. Other buyers have recommended this and like the weight of the fabric.
JUDY L on Dec 31, 2016
It's a tried and true insulator for curtains. Going to use this with a curtain I made on a sliding glass door by our dining area.
TAMMY L on Nov 20, 2016
I am using it for the zippered lining of my pet pillows. It washes up great in cold and fine in the dryer. I like the fact that it has some stretch but still durable. I wish it came in darker colors though, like tan.
