Why did you choose this?

I chose this drapery lining fabric to pair with lined drapes I made of voile in our family room, which is a south facing window which gets blasted with heat all day long. I didn't want to block out the light per se, rather to help cool the room.

Because it is insulating and the color goes well with the drapery fabric I picked out.

I was looking for a good lining to add on to a set of store-bought panels, and home made valances. They will hang in a sunny window, so wanted some weather protection but not total blackout. This fabric had good reviews from professional seamstresses. I also like that its 100% Cotton.

I make Custom Draperies. I have been using this Lining for years. It is an excellent lining. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give it a 5.

Lightweight
Just not the weight I needed for lining curtains after I washed and ironed it. It would be good if you are looking for a lighter lining' for projects. Just didn't work for me.
