Is this suitable for everyday chair cushion?
BEST ANSWER: I have used to cover chairs and stools and it looks great and wears well for the cost its a great look.
Has anyone ever used this burlap for roman shades?
BEST ANSWER: I have used for a shade and I have also used for curtains works great more of a shade not a black out but I also line them for extra privacy

BEST ANSWER: A yard is 36 inches and the width is 46 to 48 inches.
Is it possible to machine wash (cold water, gentle cycle) this fabric or is it only recommended for hand washing?
BEST ANSWER: You could machine wash this on gentle but it may cause excessive fraying and/or disrupt the weave.
