Felt Fabric Product Guide

Felt is one of the oldest known textiles. Felt fabric is often used for crafts, clothing and hats, home décor, and for sound dampening in musical instruments.

Rainbow felt is a fade resistant fabric made of 100% recycled polyester. It’s lightweight and is mostly used for craft projects like felt flowers and scrapbooking.

Premium felt is also made of recycled polyester, but is thicker and featured mold, mildew, and odor protection.

Wool felt is fuzzier than polyester felt. The rayon/wool blend is softer and more durable than rainbow felt, while 100% wool felt is thicker. It’s not as good for crafts because it tears more easily.
