Would like to redo patio chairs in sling style?
A shopper on Mar 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Most of the Phifertex fabrics (Phifertex Plus, Jacquard Plus, and PVC Wicker Weaves) can be used to replace slings. But the Phifertex Standard Solids are not recommended for this use.
I want to use this fabric to make a shade for two skylights so that my new furniture won't get sun damage. Would this be suitable? I want to retain lightness but not the sun's rays.
A shopper on Jun 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it will work for your shades. I can't speak as to whether or not it will stop all fading, but the fabric is easy to sew, and does provide shade. Good luck! Mary Jane
Would this work as an insect barrier? I'm making a pull down screen for my Dutch door.

What is needed to sew or fasten material around a dowel for use in an outdoor folding chair?
A shopper on Oct 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have never done this, but I would say use a thread that will stand up to the rigors of being outside (not cotton.) Perhaps a zipper foot so you can get close, although maybe you would want to have the movement that allowing space would provide.
Will it block heat ray?
A shopper on Jun 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would say it will pass the is an open mesh which passes water and light and thus will also pass heat. I use it as an inset in an overhead awning so it will let the rainwater pass through.
Would this be suitable to make a wheel chair replacement seat. Patient approximately 225 pounds. I would double fabric.? Yes it’s a question.
A shopper on Sep 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No... not in my opinion. It has a plastic type finish. Stains easily. And just not strong enough for every day for the purpose you have described.
I like the white. Can I use for making roller shades for windows?

A shopper on Oct 30, 2017
I would like to use this fabric to place against my deck railing (I live on the second floor) so that my terrier will not poke his head through the rails. This fabric looks perfect for this purpose and the size will work. My only concern is how the edges are finished--will they frey when cut? I plan to put grommets at the corners and attach to railings with plastic snap ties. Think this will work?
A shopper on Aug 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The edges will not fray. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.

this is a great idea for walls for an outdoor popup tent .
I made 6 panels and made tunnel casing at top to put through a 1/2 " metal road which gets inserted in corners of popup tent
i make tunnel casing and inserted a narrow metal weight at bottom.
i made strips of the fabric to hang all mu artwork at different lengths from the top with BIG safety pins.
The fabric never wrinkles I just roll it up and put in car for travel
GENIUS IDEA i think.and it saved me lots of money thst would have been spent on clumsy grates
