Can it be used as a table cloth?

BEST ANSWER: No, it is not heavy duty enough for a chair.

Could I use this to make an entire dress? Specifically a 1950's cocktail dress
BEST ANSWER: My daughter used the orange version to make a cape for a Halloween costume. It turned out very well. The fabric is thin and lightweight, drapes well and doesn't wrinkle easily. When I think of 1950's dresses, I think of more structured designs. This would not work for a structured dress without stiff interfacing. It is more like velvety t-shirt material. I If the dress is not meant to be heavily structured, it would work and likely be very comfortable. I have seen dresses for girls made out of similar material.
Would this work well for making throw pillows?
Good fabric. A little thin but well made. Light weight . Good price.
