Why did you choose this?
Is this usuable for making a quilt?
BEST ANSWER: It is a heavier fabric than the traditional cotton quilting materials but can be worked into a quilt.
Why are there no pics with a ruler to gauge the size of the prints on any of the fabrics? As that makes it impossible to gauge if you can use this for your project. I thought maybe drapery fabric might make for sturdier tote bags more similar to store bought as no manufacturer makes a tote bag with quilting fabric, they are thin, get dirty and stain easily and are floppier and require a ton of interfacing. Except maybe like Vera Bradley, but those are quilted.
Would this work well for throw pillows?
BEST ANSWER: Hello!
This would make a wonderful throw pillow. I loved working with this material. It has a nice rich smooth texture.
I made an apron for my g-granddaughter. Very eye-catching also.
Is it recommended to wash this fabric before sewing curtains?
BEST ANSWER: If you're concerned about shrinkage after the curtains are made, yes we recommend washing the fabric before any sewing is involved.
I purchased this fabric for rod pocket drape, valance and pillows for a baby’s room. It is adorable. Fabric has enough body to hang with grace The print is adorable, but not “babyish”.
