- Please Note: The slight creases, shading, size and printing irregularities are characteristic of this retro fabric and add to the oilcloth's unique personality. These will not affect the quality and durability and should not be considered cause for return or considered imperfections. Backings and color lots may vary. The recent Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) prohibits oilcloth garments such as bibs and aprons or toys for children under age 12. This is due to the level of phthalates (a softener present in all vinyl) in the PVC vinyl of which oilcloth is made. It is constructed of vinyl with a poly/cotton scrim backing, printed by rotogravure.
Maximum Continuous Length: Approximately 12 Yards,
when ordering more than 12 Yards please note it may come in more than one piece.
Oilcloth, in and of itself, is an amazing fabric. It's made from PVC vinyl with a cotton and polyester backing, which creates a beautiful, durable, shiny fabric that wipes clean with a damp cloth and won't fray. There are many who, once introduced to this fabric, find themselves addicted, ever wondering what next to create with its seemingly magical properties! For all of the reasons above, it makes a fantastic crafting choice, so once you've exhausted all of the more traditional options (like tablecloths, placemats, drawer and shelf liners) you can move on to more and more creative options, like tote bags and beach bags! This particular pattern features chunky stripes of red and white, making an ideal choice for Americana themes or a great Fourth of July picnic table setup!

Why did you choose this?
I am an upholsterer. I have over a hundred books of materials to choose from. But when a customer wanted an red and white stripe I had to go to the internet to find what they were looking for. This was exactly what they wanted and were very pleased with the job I did for them. Thank you for being there with what I needed.
