Will this whiten a off white pollyester?
BEST ANSWER: It works on polyester that was originally white. We're not sure how well it would work on fabrics that are off-white to begin with and you want to make them white, but it might!

Will this take black ink spots out of white cotton shirt?
BEST ANSWER: It probably won't.

BEST ANSWER: We suggest Rit Color Remover, which is made for exactly that purpose.
Can I use the Rit White wash on a pair of white baseball pants with a thin blue stripe up the side of the pants - will it fade the blue stripe ?
