Why did you choose this?
what is the actual thread count of this muslin?
I need 25 table cloths 60"×143" how many bolts?
BEST ANSWER: We agree with Kelli's answer. We have a 59" wide muslin or a 90" wide if you need the full 60" or need extra to hem. Another option is to get the 120" wide muslin and split that in half to get 2 pieces with a 60" width. That way you could get 2 table cloths out of 4 yards. For 25 table cloths, you would need 52 yards.
Can I recover a chair in this?
BEST ANSWER: Denim or canvas would work better. We recommend ordering samples to see what will work for your project.
Which Cotton muslin would you recommend I use for dyeing my own fabric to use in quilting?
BEST ANSWER: Any of the bleached muslin choices would work well for dyeing because they're all 100% cotton. The weights vary somewhat, but would all work for quilting. We recommend ordering a couple samples if you want to compare.
What is the best fabric to use for lampshade liner?
BEST ANSWER: Any fabric placed near a heat source such as a lamp poses the risk of fire. We do not recommend using a fabric to line the inside of a lamp shade, but a fabric on the outside would be OK.
Are the edges of this fabric finished?
BEST ANSWER: The selvage edges are finished in the sense that they won't unravel. The cut edges are not finished.
In care..It recommends dry cleaning. Is this fabric dry cleanable only?
BEST ANSWER: This muslin has a finish that would likely wash off if machine washed. If you don't want the finish or sizing, which adds a crispness to the fabric, you can wash it.
I need to cover 6 king zise comforters on each side to give them new life. How much do I need to buy?
BEST ANSWER: We suggest getting this muslin in the 120" width, which would be enough to cover the full width of the comforter. No piecing together necessary! For the front and back of 6 comforters, you would need approximately 40 yards. Comforter sizes can vary by manufacturer, so you may need a little more or less depending on the size.
