I previously used this lining for silk balloon shades and it worked beautifully. I originally chose it because it is lightweight, and wouldn't weigh down or separate from the silk fabric.

Its a good value for a light weight drapery lining. When using light weight linens and silks for draperies, you have to have equal the weight for linings. This is the perfect product for that purpose. One side has salvage edge which won’t show once project is completed. Very good value for this product!!!!!

I love the price for the quality of this lining.
CORINNA B on Aug 14, 2017
I didn't want a very heavy lining, I'm using it with a sheer fabric so the light will come thru but you can't see thru it.

I've used it before as a lightweight lining for curtains. Adds a nice finish to curtains but doesn't add bulk. Much less money than the store!

Absolutely THE BEST price for this lining. I am making at least 8-10 window treatments for my home and need lots of lining. I also use it to make patterns. Good quality products, great service!

Would this material be good for Wedding backdrop?
A shopper on May 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It is dense. It is has no sheen. It is opaque. As long as that is what you want, it would work well.
Is this appropriate to use with silk shantung?
A shopper on May 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I used it with a poly shantung and it worked great. Some of the other linings were heavier than the drapery fabric and i didn't think they would work well. The drapes hang beautifully with this lining and provide enough coverage that they are not see through.
Do you have paypal?
A shopper on Nov 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We do not currently offer PayPal.
Is 100 yds of a 54" wide material 100 square yards or 100 yards in length?
A shopper on Mar 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It would be 100 yards in length, 54" wide.
Can I dye it?
Regina F on Jan 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This fabric would not be suitable for dyeing because it has a water repellant finish.

It's thin
I prefer a heavier white lining but the price for this lining sucks you in so I gave it a try. One whole side of this lining is raw. No selvage. I surge anyway but it slows you down. If you are lining
A light fabric and don't want a more solid look. You'll like this better. If you want a more solid lining I'd use the Haines Cotton lining.
