I have used this before when making formal drapes. Always works well as the lining. I use interlining as well to add fullness.

can you use this fabric as the actual drapery?
A shopper on Nov 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: While you technically could with this particular lining, it may not look the best.
Is this the best lining to use with linen fabric?
A shopper on Feb 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It depends on how much body you want the drapes to have and any other qualities you would like in a drapery lining, like blackout, insulating, or water resistance. This fabric will give it some body while still letting some light through. Something like Roclon Specialsuede Drapery Lining will add more body and more insulation. If you want a lot of volume, use an interlining fabric between the linen and lining. Really, there's no right or wrong answer or any linings that are best for linen in particular.
