Why did you choose this?
can you use this fabric as the actual drapery?
BEST ANSWER: While you technically could with this particular lining, it may not look the best.
Is this the best lining to use with linen fabric?
BEST ANSWER: It depends on how much body you want the drapes to have and any other qualities you would like in a drapery lining, like blackout, insulating, or water resistance. This fabric will give it some body while still letting some light through. Something like Roclon Specialsuede Drapery Lining will add more body and more insulation. If you want a lot of volume, use an interlining fabric between the linen and lining. Really, there's no right or wrong answer or any linings that are best for linen in particular.

I am working with a heavy brocade fabric. the video said to match the weight of the lining to the fabric, but I think that will be much too heavy. The fabric alone blocks nearly all the light, I just want to protect this expensive fabric from the sun. What lining do you reccommend?
Is the rain no stain repellent all the way thru the material?
BEST ANSWER: It is, however this material is only water repellent, not water proof.
Would you recommend this fabric for roman shade backing? The front fabric is a duck canvas.
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this drapery lining is popular for roman shades because it isn't too thick.
Can this fabric be dyed with procion dyes?
Replace rv curtain lining
We purchased a used rv which had a water stained front curtain lining. The main curtain was a heavy canvas type black-out curtain. We decided to replace the lining ourselves instead of buying an expensive new curtain. The rain no stain fabric was a perfect choice. It was easy to handle and sew and made a very neat replacement job. Also the price was lower than the local fabric store. We are hoping the “rain no stain” will live up to it’s name with future use. I called to discuss my project and make sure that I had chosen the correct fabric for it. The rep was very polite and helpful. I received the fabric in 2 days. I will recommend onlinefabric to others - actually I already have.

I had this placed on the reverse of several window treatments in my home, and it does not disappoint. It is sheer but opaque and everything described. . . .Highly recommend!
