- Usage: Mirror Effect is an innovative coating that transforms glass and acrylic glass into a unique mirror finish. Ideal for glass vases, candleholders, framed glass, jars, & tabletops. Apply to the reverse or opposite side of glass. Interior use only. Dries completely in 5-10 minutes. May recoat anytime. For extra protection, apply a thin coat of Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover 2X Matte Clear or Flat Black to the painted side. Can also be used to give the effect of mercury glass by using a water vinegar solution.

Can I refinish an old beveled mirror that has lost a lot of it's finish with this product?
BEST ANSWER: This product won't give you the clarity and reflective quality of a real mirror, but it's effect might produce an antiqued finish you're looking for!
Will this work on a motorcycle face shield?

Why do you need to coat painted side with clear or flat black paint ?
BEST ANSWER: It's to prevent the mirror effect spray from chipping.
What if the glass has scratches?
BEST ANSWER: Since this is applied on the reverse side of the glass, you will still be able to see the scratches. If the back side is the side that has the scratches, it's possible the paint could fill them enough so they're not noticeable, but only if the scratches are very light.
I want my old bowling ball to have a mirror surface to reflect flowers in my garden?
