Why did you choose this?
will this work for a lamp shade?
Would this fabric work as a cushion cover for a dining chair?
BEST ANSWER: This is a lightweight fabric with an open weave so it wouldn't be well suited for dining chairs.
Would this fabric be suitable for a renaissance skirt and bodice?
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn’t. It’s a bit rough for that and the weave would make it a challenge I imagine.
What is the percentage of linen and poly in this fabric?
BEST ANSWER: This "linen-look" fabric is 100% polyester.
Is this too open-weave for apparel, as men's shirts? What about slip-covers for furniture?
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the open weave of this poly linen wouldn't make it suitable for men's shirts, though it could be used for other types of apparel, especially with a lining. For the same reason, it also wouldn't make great slipcovers. It is most commonly used for curtains and tablecloths.
