Why did you choose this?
is this material suitable for making lined curtains?
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely! This fabric is great for lined curtains.
is this fabric suitable for upholstery?
BEST ANSWER: This fabric is suitable for light to medium use upholstery applications.
Can this material be used for long maxi dress ??
BEST ANSWER: This drapery fabric is thicker than typical apparel fabric, but people do sometimes use fabric like this for garments. We recommend ordering a sample to see if the weight will work for your project.
Are you able to provide a Fire Retardant Certificate for the indoor fabric? My upholsterer requires it (for compliance with UK law). Thanks.
BEST ANSWER: Contact our customer service at either email@example.com or 877-781-2967 Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm EST.
Do the indoor and outdoor fabrics look identical in terms of colour etc, such that you could use both in the same room?
BEST ANSWER: The outdoor fabric is not as soft as the indoor version and the colors are slightly different. Also the outdoor version has a smaller scale pattern.
Hi. Is this fabric suitable for making a headboard and valance? Would the indoor or outdoor version be more suitable for this application?
BEST ANSWER: The indoor version would be best as the outdoor version is slightly more stiff and the scale of the pattern is smaller.
is this suitable for a table cloth?
Planning on making a duvet with this. Would you recommend this version or the outdoor for durability?
BEST ANSWER: The outdoor version would be more durable, but it's also a little stiffer and not as soft to the touch as this one. Either one could work depending on if durability or softness is more important to you.
The other thing to consider is wash-ability. Dry cleaning or spot cleaning is recommended for both of the fabrics (and most other decor fabrics), but you may be able to get away with machine washing on cold and hanging dry, especially for a project like a duvet. The linen/rayon version will probably shrink and the finish on the outdoor fabric could be affected. Is the background color white?
BEST ANSWER: No, it's an off-white cream color. We recommend ordering a sample if you want to see the colors in person.
