Working on chairs, old tack strips to beat up and bent to reuse.
Diverlady on Jan 11, 2017
These are great for straight edges on pieces I've done in the past. Most of the time I just reuse what was originally on the furniture piece but sometimes the teeth or broken on the original strips so it's great to have some of these on hand. Very user friendly!

Can this be curved, without breaking, such as to go around the outside edge of a cushion?
A shopper on Apr 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It would be difficult. You could snip it to create a curve. But, why are you using this for a cushion. It's for creating a straight edge.
Can you provide tips/guidance on using this with a fairly slippery fabric? How do you best ensure that the fabric stays true to straight while installing the tack strip?
A shopper on Dec 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Sit the strip on the edge of chair So is just outside of where you will have it placed this way it is already straight with slippery material you can get the plastic covers for the strip so moves smoothly
Can you use these tack strips even if you want to use the the fabric edging and the hammered head nails?
