Why did you choose this?
Is this fabric washable?
BEST ANSWER: Yes, though it may shrink a bit, so definitely pre-wash it.
what is the oz weight?
BEST ANSWER: This Bull Denim fabric weighs 9 ounces per square yard.
Will a dark fabric under this white denim show? Looking to make a white slipcover for a red couch.
BEST ANSWER: This fabric is thick enough that it shouldn't show, but we recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
The description says that this is white but the photo looks like cream. Can you tell me if it's white?
BEST ANSWER: Yes this is a true white, I was worried it was a cream color from the photo but it is white.
Hi, I notice that your fabric is 60 inches wide. My requirements are 55 Yards of 54 inch wide yardage. How do I convert that to 60 inch wide yardage? Also I had been told that Bull Denim is 10 to 16 oz per yard. Is this not true? I see that yours is 9 oz weight. Thank you.
Is this a stretch denim?
BEST ANSWER: No it’s not. It’s a nice sturdy white denim
can it be used for furniture upholstery?
BEST ANSWER: I do not believe this fabric is heavy enough for upholstery. I made fitted slipcovers for three loveseats, including the seat and back pillows, using the white denim. It spot cleans and washes well. I'm always sure to remove the slipcovers from the dryer before over drying to prevent wrinkling and additional shrinkage. I did wash and thoroughly dry the fabric prior to use to pre-shrink. The fabric is wearing well and looks sharp on the 45-year-old Hickory Chair Chippendale loveseat and the two 32-year-old Drexel Burton Loveseats.
can I wash it?
BEST ANSWER: It should always be pre-washed before cutting or sewing. It's a great fabric for that beach cottage look.
anyone know if this matches IKEA white couch fabric?
BEST ANSWER: I bought this fabric b/c I have an IKEA white couch. The fabric is slightly less thick than IKEA's. Nevertheless, it is a good match.
Would this denim be appropriate for unlined draperies?
BEST ANSWER: I used the fabric to slipcover two club chairs. I believe it's heavy enough that lining wouldn't be necessary but it would depend on what effect you're trying to achieve. Hope this helps.
Is the bull denim pre-shrunk?
how much fabric do I need for slipcovers for my sofa? 7 ft long ...42 deep ... 32 high .... seat cusions are 35 w 29 d ...... back cusions are 40" x 19" (2 seat cusions / 2 back cusions) 2 throw pillows are 19 x 22
BEST ANSWER: We suggest doing a Google search for a calculator that would help you come up with the total amount of yardage you'll need.
Will this fabric fray when left un-hemmed and washed?
It’s May 13th, how soon do you expect to have the white bull denim in?
Hi, I have measurements for a 54 inch wide denim. How do I translate your 60 inch fabric to accommodate the difference in width? I am using it for slipcovers and a duvet cover. Using 54 inch wide fabric I need 55 yards. Also I thought that Bull denim was a mid weight denim which I thought was 10 to 16 oz denim? Is that true? This says 9 oz weight for this denim. Thank you.
What type of material would be good for a flag in a high windy area?
Had slipcovers made for two club chairs & it worked out great. The gal who did the sewing asked that the fabric be washed before sewing which I did.....It needed a little pressing once on the chairs but I was going for a beach cottage look so a few wrinkles didn't hurt a bit.

Found it at last
I have pre-shrunk the fabric and the body and texture are what I was expecting. Almost all "denim" on the market today is: 1) shirt-weight 2) part polyester or stretch fabric 3) has no "twill". This is the right stuff, and will make excellent jeans.
