We chose this for our Wedding decorations - we are using an event barn with a chandelier in the middle of the room and we are draping it from four surrounding posts up above the chandelier and I am hoping for an elegant look in a rustic atmosphere! I really hope this is what I am looking for!

Would this look okay over a silver satin? The Silver chiffon is too dark for me.
Amandah S on Aug 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I think so. It’s sheer enough that the color would show through but subtle.
is this sheer enough to clearly see a lace fabric directly behind it?
Alison B on Jun 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If directly behind it, I believe it would be, but we suggest ordering a sample to make sure it is sheer enough.
What weight is your chiffon?
A shopper on May 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This is a lightweight fabric that drapes beautifully. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
Would this work for a wedding arch? How much would I need from the floor to the hooks is 8ft both sides n 4 ft across the top?
A shopper on Mar 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: This fabric could work. Another popular wedding fabric is voile. The amount you'll need really depends on how much of a drape you'd like. You'd need at the very least 7 yards. For a more draped look, 8-10 yards should do the trick.
Hi, I'm looking to purchase chiffon to my shower curtains to be used for rooms. I have 4 of such curtains measuring 70x72" . How many yards do I need to purchase in total . And do you cut?
A shopper on Mar 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You would need about 12 yards. We don't generally do custom cuts.
Would this work for a draping in a barn for a wedding?

A shopper on Jun 29, 2017

how much yards do i need to hang at the back in one on a chivari chair?
A shopper on Feb 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 2 yards should be plenty, depending on how much you want hanging out.
I would like to make rather opaque sheers for my windows. Is this suitable fabric or is there a better choice?
Deb L on Oct 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This chiffon is a good choice for a fabric on the more opaque side of sheer. Another choice is batiste or mussola. They are wider than the chiffon, which may be helpful for curtains. We suggest ordering samples to compare and see which is right for you.

I was able to dye it light blue easily. I ordered 4 other colors with this and it all came on the same roll instead of on separate rolls.
