is this actually white or an off white color?
BEST ANSWER: It's not a bright white, but isn't ivory. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
I want to make a light veil. It sounds like this fabric would be too stiff. Would White Silk Chiffon be a better fabric choice to make a light wedding veil?
BEST ANSWER: This silk organza would be fine for a veil. We recommend ordering a sample of each to be sure that it will work for your project.
Can I use it for wedding gown, I need it to be full?
BEST ANSWER: I would use this as a crinoline under the skirt if you are talking about a full skirt. You could use A-line panels then gather at the waist.
Not impossible to use for a wedding gown but this is a stiff fabric. And it is sheer.
Would this work for covering a lampshade frame?
BEST ANSWER: We don't see why not.
I want to make a baby blanket, would this be a good fit? Could you recommend a silk that is good for blankets?
BEST ANSWER: This fabric wouldn't be that great for a baby blanket. Satin would be fine.
Is this silk organza suitable for sheer draperies?
BEST ANSWER: Organza has body and won't drape as well as some other sheers, like chiffon. If you're looking for 100% silk, we'd suggest silk chiffon. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.

BEST ANSWER: Tulle is most commonly used for veils. Organza is a popular fabric choice as well. This fabric is fairly soft, we recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
