Is it possible to stain this material? As in decorative wood stain?
A shopper on Oct 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's best not to finish it so it stays breathable and flexible, and it will naturally darken over time. But it is possible to stain it with an oil-based wood stain, but if you do so, we suggest only staining one side so the other side remains breathable.
How do I attach it to the chair frame?
A shopper on Oct 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We don't currently have a tutorial for installing cane webbing, but this article by the Wicker Woman has thorough instructions: www.wickerwoman.com/articles/install-cane-webbing

How is the opening of the open cane measured? This ad says 1/2 inch. I'd like to order the same size as my chairs have now. Thanks

How do I figure out how much spline I would need and what size? I have six chairs measuring 22" high by 13". I was told 7 feet would work, but forgot to ask about the spline. Thank you. Maria
A shopper on Dec 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You would need one 72" package of spline per chair. You can measure the width of the grove that the spline goes in to figure out which size is correct for your chairs. The 3/16" is ideal for 3/16" groves and the 1/4" is perfect for 1/4" groves.

Great place to do business for your furniture repairs
No one wanted to repair my dining room chair's cracked and broken cane netting. So I ordered netting and spline and have no regrets. In fact, I am very happy with their product and service.

I did like the fabric. I soaked it in warm water for about 20 minutes which made it very easy to work with. It now bent easily to fit into the grooves. I cut, glued and finished the project. Looks great!
