COVID-19 Updates

To our valued customers,

Thank you for your continued support as we all navigate through these strange and uncertain times. We have learned a lot through this experience and would like to share a little insight into what we have been doing to keep our employees safe and our customers happy these last few months.

When talking with our staff, the consensus was that everyone wanted to continue working as long as it was safe to do so. We then got to work ensuring that our employees safety concerns were met first and foremost. We changed operating procedures to accommodate social distancing throughout the building, we provided every employee with facemasks that are to be worn at all times, and all common spaces are cleaned frequently. Employees are working from home when possible, and we have accommodated the needs of their families due to the disruption of usual childcare.

These safety measures have limited our capacity to ship out orders as quickly, but our employees are safe and that is the most important thing. Our vendors have implemented similar precautionary regulations in order to keep their employees safe as well, which means we haven’t been able to get in products as quickly or as reliably as before.

At the same time, demand for fabrics has been far higher than we had ever seen in our 60 years in this industry. Our vendors have also experienced supply chain disruptions due to COVID-19 closures, further limiting stock. We have had to hunt far and wide for materials that were previously readily available, especially the fabric and supplies used for making fabric face masks and other pandemic-related projects.

All that said, we are still here every day getting out orders as quickly as possible and reaching out to customers when we are unable to do so. Please understand that our volume of customer service requests is also extremely high and we’re working hard to respond to everyone. If you have been waiting for a long time for your order, we sincerely apologize for the delay and the inconvenience it may have caused.

Above all, thank you all for your patience and kindness you have shown through this entire ordeal.

We really appreciate the support and understanding you’ve shown us during this uncertain time when nothing is normal.

We are experiencing a huge volume of orders and customer service inquiries related to COVID-19. We’re working hard and long to get your orders shipped out and your questions answered but you will likely see a delay in order processing time and customer service response time.

Maintaining a safe work environment and accommodating the needs of our team members and their families has strained our capacity, but we have added extra shifts and reassigned people to help in shipping and customer service. We’re constantly improving our processes to adjust to the increase in demand and strive to meet our customers' needs. We absolutely understand your need for materials for facemasks and other time-sensitive projects and want to get them to you as fast as we can.

To our valued customers,

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently following the CDC and State of Massachusetts recommendations on handling the virus to provide the utmost care and protection to our employees. A large portion of our workforce is now working from home to limit the exposure and spread of the disease.

We are committed to processing your orders, however with limited in-house staff there may be delays. We appreciate the amazing thoughtfulness of our customers who are creating masks and other supplies to donate to health care workers and hospitals around the world, and we will continue to process all orders to our highest ability.
