- Width: 24"
- Length: 54"
- Thickness: 1"
- Fire Rating: California Technical Bulletin #117 Section E
- Features: Durable, high density foam suitable for long-term use.
Density: 2.4 lbs Per Cubic Foot
This 1" high density foam (1x24x54) will not provide a lot of cushion so is most appropriate for use as padding for tie on chair cushions, small headboards and upholstered footstools. The 1" thickness allows enough leg room under a table when used as chair cushions. This thickness can also be used as stuffing for throw pillows. As a "topper" for larger pieces of foam, the one inch thickness will provide additional support and the density will allow your furniture to retain its shape. A unique idea, padding a fabric covered photo mat or interior of a shadow box requires a relatively thin foam and the one inch thickness is perfect.

Why did you choose this?
is this a suitable product to use as a baby crib bumper pad?
BEST ANSWER: I used it to recover my dinning room chairs along with a layer of batting. I think it would be fine as a base for a baby crib bumper, but I would probably also wrap it with batting.
I'm trying to use this to make the inside of a headboard, think it'll work?
BEST ANSWER: I think it would be a good base, but you may still want to add some batting over the top of it to round it out a little bit. You could even trim the sharp edge to round it out. Enjoy!
I I would like to id like to purchase a large high density foam block24"×54"×72" or thick matting maybe 6 inches thick.is that possible?
I used this to reupholster dining room chairs. It's firm and comfortable to sit on, and seems to be denser and higher quality than the foam available in the brick and mortar fabric stores.
