Am making car window nets, using this for the trim edges and cinching with a cord on the inside (window cover will go around door edges and door can open and close). I'm basing this on the description that it is durable and flexible enough for car covers.

Is this a single ply material or is it lightly quilted?

I want to make a cover for the spare tire on a Jeep Wrangler. Can I use a regular sewing machine with the nylon fabric you sell? It is for a gag and I will be stitching a circle in the center with a picture and then making a pocket to insert elastic to snap the cover over the entire tire. Will my idea work?
A shopper on Jun 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Ripstop may not be durable enough, you may want to consider oxford or pack cloth, which will hold up better. You should be able to use a regular sewing machine, but make sure you're using thread intended for outdoor use like bonded nylon thread. We recommend ordering samples to see which one might be best for your project.

I am looking for material like this "75 denier StormShield ® 1,500 mm polyester rip-stop" It is the material in my Eureka tent rainfly. I have used it to make 3 day use backpacks and it is a perfect fabric for me for this use. Sadly, after making three packs out of my tent rainfly, I am out of material and need to buy material for my next pack. What material can I buy that is the most like "Fly: 75 denier StormShield ® 1,500 mm polyester rip-stop" in terms of strength and weight?
A shopper on Jul 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We recommend ordering a sample to be sure that it will work for your project.
I am thinking of making inflatable, washable dog beds for shelters to use. This way, dogs can't chew through the cover, and if they did, there would be nothing inside to ingest. Also, this seems like it would be easy to clean. Do you think the fabric is airtight enough for this purpose?
A shopper on Mar 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We don't think that this fabric would stand up to dog teeth. The fabric you're looking for might be something along the line of a coated pack cloth, but that would not inflate very well.
Is this material fireproof?
A shopper on Feb 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This specific ripstop isn't, but we do have two ripstops that have flame retardant coatings to pass CPAI 84 specs:
