We Believe in Rays of Hope
Many of us have friends and loved ones who have been directly affected by breast cancer. According to Cancer.org, “In 2013, an estimated 232,340 new cases of invasive breast cancer were expected to be diagnosed among US women” and “approximately 39,620 US women were expected to die from breast cancer” in that one year.
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our OFS team, led by Charlene, would like to help spread awareness and raise funds to support research and breast health programs. So on October 19 we’ll be participating in the Rays of Hope Walk and Run Toward the Cure of Breast Cancer in Springfield, MA. We’ve provided fabric and our team has created scarves, scrunchies, blankets, wrist clutches, which we’ll sell at the event to raise money for the cause. If you’re in the area, please consider joining the cause, and if not, these are occurring across the country. Every person and penny counts!
